The Building Integrated Photovoltaic Weather Station provides meteorological data models used to predict the electrical performance of building integrated photovoltaic panels. The weather station incorporates an automated solar tracker and instruments to measure solar radiation, ambient temperature, and wind conditions. Click on the individual instruments for a complete description.
To examine data over a range of times, input the starting point and ending point in the form below and press compute. The averages for each of the measurements will be computed and plots of each of those measurements can be displayed.![]()

This operational server maintains a current database of meteorological information generated by the NIST Meteorological Station. In an effort to enhance the science, experimental data are accessible on this server and care must be taken when using such products as they are intended for research use. This server is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
